Tomorrow is the big day. Tomorrow my daughter turns 3 years old. 😍 I'm so excited. And a little story for you all, on this day three years ago, my mom called to check up on me when I told her I wouldn't be able to make it to my niece's first birthday in a few days because I was in lots of pain and could barely walk. My mom asked if I was in labor and I laughed. No mom, I got another month to ago. I'm just really fat now and it all hurts, I told her. She said she was going to drive up the next morning to check on me and take me to my doctor's appointment. It was my 36 week check up the next day. I said okay I'll see you tomorrow. Later on that night, after fighting with my daughter's father to go to sleep so I could (he was playing video games), I fell asleep at 3am. An hour later I woke up to use the bathroom or so I thought. I stood up from the bed and a huge gush of water fell between my legs. I was now in labor. I of course freaked out a bit then woke up my daughter's father and started making phone calls. By time my mom got to the hospital, it was almost Noon. She looked at me and said, I thought you weren't in labor? And laughed. A few hours later I pushed my beautiful baby girl out and I've been so happy and excited about life for 3 years now. 💕 As a side note, I really didn't now I was in active labor for days. I talked to my doctor about it and she said had I made it to my appointment that day, I would have been sent to the hospital for monitoring. 🤣 If I had been on this app while pregnant, all you lovely ladies could have told me that I was and I wouldn't have been so unprepared. 😂
