So I tried researching and I can’t find anything. I have thyroid disease (under active). I take my medicine but some days I do forget. They told me that the thyroid disease is probably what caused my miscarriage in July because it wasn’t be treated at the time and the baby never developed a heart beat. So it was early. I’m now 15 weeks, I’ve seen her moving and her heart beat on ultrasound up till 10 weeks. Was wondering if it’s still possible for the thyroid disease to harm her now.
Not sure about harmful but definitely important to keep up on. I also have an under active thyroid. You will need to have bloodwork done multiple times during pregnancy to see if you need to change your dosage. I take my meds first thing in the morning they are right next to my bed with a water ready to go.
Yeah I have my blood work done every month and will continue to have it every six months forever to make sure it stays stable 🙂
I have Graves Disease (overactive) you must be diligent about making sure to remember your meds ❤️ Generally by the 15 mark we are relatively safe regarding miscarriage! Thyroid disease is more known to cause early loss.
Thank you! I’m usually good about it but some weeks I forget a day or two, but I’ll definitely be better!
It’s still super early hun !! And she’s still so small at that many weeks they move way more than we know they do wait until week 20/24 before you get worried about movements being constant easier said than done I’m sure . Just keep taking your meds and stay positive ♥️
Not sure but if I were I would continue to take the medication until the doctor says not too.. if you forget put an alarm on your phone for like 10:00 am to Take your medication
I have to take it for the rest of my life regardless. Just some mornings I forget. It has to be taken before any food so it’s like a right as you get up thing. Most days I’m fine
Set an alarm on your phone at the same time every day take your med and prenatal at the same time every day
