Question for all mommies: my 2 monrh old has a cold. Is it safe to put baby soothing chest rub on her? I have the Walgreens all natural brand.

They have ones that are safe for very young babies, however even they say what age is best. I really REALLY recommend talking to pedi. Theres a risk the babys sinuses will swell shut and the baby could suffocate.

Also instead on putting it on the chest you could try on their feet. I heard it works best and I’ve been doing it on my babies feet since se was tiny. Now I use it on her back, chest and feet.

Baby chest rub is best and I love it ❤️ I have the baby Vick’s and also the Zarbee’s brand. I asked 3 different doctors and 2 nurses and 2 docs told me it was fine also the 2 nurses. Everyone’s recommendations are different. If you decide speak to your doc about your baby first.

They do make some for babies( I got this one from Walmart) she is still a little young and I agree with previous posters but for the future they do make baby chest rubs (: @jassyburton62612

No. Just keep baby comfy with your love, humidifier, lavendar essential oil diffuser or tea tree oil, lots of hydrating,
