Ok question I went into check on my 2 year old son and he was blue his face was pale and his lips were blue and his eyes were open. So I put his crib railing down and rubbed his chest and he took a big breath then started crying. I took him out and was holding him and he kept trying to fall back asleep. Then he started shaking. He was not cold cuz he has his warm jammies on and he dont have a temp. What should I do?
2 yr olds don't just hold their breath until they pass out and go blue... on more than one occasion. Coupled with the nosebleeds and everything else- you need to take this boy and run every test possible and find out what is wrong. Demand your doctors do better.
Nothing came up on anything he goes in to see his dr today and he may do more tests
@lilmama83 "may" isn't an answer you should settle for. Demand a full work up and an MRI. Something is going on with your baby. I read all of your past posts. This is NOT normal.
CALL 911( 1ST) an ambulance will get your BLUE innocent child seen faster..I am not a new mom by far but,Please call for help as you pick up your child. If you've post about these issues before many toddlers while awake may learn to hold their breath if upset as my sister's twins did but,NEVER when asleep. Please keep us updated after your hospital visit.and yes remaining calm is fine but,NEVER let a child or any person go back to sleep...(ice pack on his spine may awake him and regulate his temp asap but, your saying he has no fever
He was acting fine after. I had to stay calm for my older boys. They saw this many times with their little sister. But she had alot of other medical issues also. We are home now he just held his breath. Everything checked out good
If my child was blue and not breathing I hate to be *that* mom but I’d be calling 911 and not posting. I wouldn’t be calm. I’m glad he’s being seen! Keep us posted.
I will and I was being calm cuz if he saw me freaking out he would start to freak out also
911!!! How are you so calm? A blue toddler laying still with eyes open?! You should have and still should call an ambulance so they can start to assess him ASAP! Going to the er is just going to mean you guys get to sit in the waiting room because he’s acting fine now. I just don’t understand how you thought to post on an app rather than asking or seeking medical help from professionals! Damn some people 🤦🏽♀️
@mommy_of_2., you’re part of the problem with the ignorance on this app 🤦🏽♀️🙄 you can’t coddle everyone, some people need to hear the truth 👋🏼
@tennesseehawk, lmao im part of the problem😂😂😂😂 yea i guess if i play a part then so does your rude ass. She didnt ask for backlash n rudeness. So fucking what if u felt like she shouldve known🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
I read previous posts. I seen where this has happened before in the bathtub. What did your doctor say when you brought up that concern to them? I also notice a lot of accidents happen to your 2 year old. Which is normal I guess, but I would voice concerns to the doctor as well.
Omg😱 that is my worst fear with my babies! Please take him to the hospital
If you wouldn't have checked on him he could have died. I really hope you call an ambulance or get him to the ER immediately.
