Most people didn’t even realize I had a csection because I was able to get around so well. I hope if I have to have another csection with my next baby I recover the same way again!
I guess I was a lucky one. I didn’t take any pain meds at all with my csection and really didn’t have any downtime. I kept active but not too active of course. I just stayed up moving and it really helped my recovery. Then on top of that when DS was 4 weeks old I had to get my gallbladder taken out. 😩
I found the first 3 days to be the worst then after that i could nove around but couldnt stand long. It gets better!
I’ve had 4 and honestly it only gets better with time, you have to stay on top of your meds and just stay still. Sorry momma.
I had 2. Take your pain meds on schedule! Don’t get behind on them. Hold a pillow to your belly when you move/cough/laugh/sneeze. Don’t overdo it. Idk if you’re still in the hospital or not but if you are you can always ask for more pain meds.
I am still in the hospital waiting on pain meds now and yeah I use the pillow but it still hurts
@lashae93, maybe ask them for something stronger. I had to do that last time and it kicked in quick and I wasn’t in any pain anymore. Csection pain sucks!
@lashae93 this will b my forth this coming feb but ask them for the stomach wrap u wrap it up and it feels nice n tight n of course they need to b on top of ya meds hun i know is horrible.
Yes 8 weeks ago. It sucks but I swear it gets better!! The first two weeks are the hardest
I had one with my first birth (daughter) worst 2-3 weeks of my life but it gets better gradually. You just have to be extra careful.
