So my three year old started pre-k in October and once a week she missed school so that totals up to 5 days of missed school and she got a letter sent home saying she’s missing a lot of school and there’s 4.8 students missing school as well, well here is the problem. Ever since she started school she’s been getting sick and that’s expected and she also episodes where she will throw up for no reason and well today she has been coughing a lot and you can tell it’s deep and she’s coughing up phlegm and she can’t sleep but she’s still acting just like herself and I guess five kids didn’t go to school today and tomorrow is her last day because she has Friday off, they don’t have school but obviously I’m sending her to school but I feel like if she misses school they will call DHS on me or whatever but if I keep sending her to school sick then what kind of mom am I? I’m so torn and I feel so crappy.
