Okay I need some help, so I’m a first time mom to a 7 month old, we’ve used beech nut and gerber foods since 4 months old, I really would like to start some table foods but I need ideas and not just “ anything you eat” like some examples of what you give to your 6-8 month old?

Mashed potatoes, peas mashed up, well he been eating that since he was three months but now I give him fries , Mac & cheese pretty much everything we eat I just chew some of it up for him

@kas.f, I started off with the box but it’s whatever you prefer but he do he what I cook or fast food just gotta make sure it’s chewed up real good or mashed up real good

Like what kind of ham/chicken/turkey/noodles.. lol I’m so weird but like I don’t know If I have to make it all completely home made or like buy a bag or box of noodles? If that makes sense 🤦🏼♀️ Jeeeee I feel dumb

Make as much as you can at home so you can monitor the salt content.

@kas.f, you’ll be surprised at how much they actually can eat. Just make sure it’s cut up small and be prepared for mess, a LOT of mess! 😂

lol yeah it’s a mess even with purées hahahaha I learned to have lots of rags, paper towels handy 😂

@kas.f i typed a comment but i dont see it . im not sure if i hit send lol. I give him the same lunch meat i buy for myself. I cut or tear it. Sometimes give him ritz crackers and cut up block cheese with it. For noodles i just get regular spaghetti noodles in a box and boil noodles for him and put either a little butter..red sauce..or alfredo sauce Sometimes on them.
