Ok ladies I’ll b 36 weeks tomorrow today I went in my son is face down I’m 1 1/2 cm dialated and 75% effaced lol can y’all explain to me what that means? I guess after I heard 1 1/2 I was excited and just saying ok because with my daughter I was late 41 weeks and didn’t open at all

Ok cool I kind of had an idea I’m just amazed that my body is doing it on its own but thank you for the response I’m just ready

You could walk around like that for weeks though.

It means you only have 8 and half more cm to go and that effaced is your cervix thinning out. So it's 75% thinned out.

Lol it’s ok I plan on doing the same thing I told my gm I’m like look I’m working till I can’t anymore and he just told me to let him know
