
Since he’s been on my back since Thanksgiving wanting a pecan pie. Here it is. It’s my 1st one ever. So I’m praying I don’t burn the crust. Lol. The filing is good. Lol.
3eggs
1C. Light or dark Karo syrup
1C. Sugar
1tsp. Vanilla extract
1 1/2C. Of pecans halves
I used a 9 inch deep pie crust.
2Tbsp melted butter.
Mix eggs, karo, butter, sugar, vanilla, and pecans together. Then pour into pie crust.
Pre heat oven to 350
Bake for 60-70 mins.
And the tip I received. Place aluminum-foil over pie edges to keep from over browning.

Cover just the crust with some aluminum foil, that will help it not burn, especially since pecan pies have to bake so long
