I have lived my whole life in tropical weather.. what clothes do you recommend me to wear on NYE on NYC to watch the ball drop. First time ever experiencing cold weather.

I was raised in N.Y. and live in miami.it will be the coldest day of your life ;) have fun be safe and alert and dress in layerssss.gloves,hat,scarf,boots u will slide in sneakers if it's icey or snowing, under shirts, w shirt jackets

She’s right! I spent one winter in MT after living in Louisiana forever and I was NOT prepared with my clothing. Don’t bring high heels lol. Definitely bring boots that won’t slide on ice and dress in layers.

You may have to wait until you get there to get good clothing for the climate. Bring layers, even if that is wearing a tight tank top under a long sleeve shirt and then a sweater. Get a *good* jacket, scarf, beanie, gloves. How long are you staying there?
