Gender disappointment is a real thing that many people don't like to talk about because they feel they should be greatful regardless, but my husband was gutted when we found out we were having a boy he really wanted a girl, he loves him to death now but he was upset about it for a while whilst I was pregnant

I had gender disappointment with my first! It’s SUCKS but I love my little man so much 😍. I felt bad for feeling the way I did but after he was born all was well sometimes I do still wish I had a girl honestly. Who knows, maybe this baby will be 🤷🏼‍♀️

Congratulations!!!! You’ll soon understand how lucky you are to have two boys. My boys are best friends, their bond is so strong.

I had gender disappointment with my second. I REALLY wanted a girl. I was convinced he was a girl. I actually cried when they said it's a boy. Now I couldn't even imagine him being a girl.

I really wanted a girl this time but I will be having another boy. I feel like I convinced myself this one was going to be a girl so when I found out I’m having a boy it was even harder.

Just didn't expect to be as crushed as I was/am. My heart was so set on girl and this morning I deleted all the girl stuff I had saved on Amazon and just balled my eyes out. I have no drive to even look at anything baby related now.
