I eat so much with my pregnancy, but my cousin (18w+3) still can barely get a meal down a day - usually feeling so unbearably nauseous. Is that enough food for the baby?! Is it normal for some people? I tell her to tell her doctor and try different foods but it's so hard for to eat so she's kinda unmotivated to. She's already prescribed Zofran or something for nausea but it doesn't seem to really help. It breaks my heart as I just sit there and eat everything in sight every couple of hours

My first pregnancy was totally normal with little sickness, and I was not expecting to be so nauseous! I still only get sick in the morning time usually, but am unable to eat much. I'm good to get a third of a meal down and at that point I feel so sick I couldn't even nibble at it any longer.

With my first pregnancy, I hardly ate anything...I felt nauseous all the time. This time, I’m constantly eating. It’s crazy how different each pregnancy is. Hopefully, your cousin is getting something in her system. If her dr is concerned, that’s when I’d worry...if they aren’t, and the baby is growing, don’t worry to much.
