Well Today’s my birthday my mom is taking me to brunch so that’s going to be the highlight of my day because my husband has so far forgotten that it was my birthday then remember said hbd then went back to sleep.. so I’m up with the kids while he’s knocked out and I haven’t gotten any rest.... birthdays just arent the same anymore... I don’t ask for much just to at least be remembered and appreciated... 🙄

I feel you on this one. My SO didn’t remember to say happy birthday for the first few hours we were up together in the morning the last 2 years. Funny he remembered 3 years in a row before that though🤷🏼♀️ but then regardless every year it’s been my parents coming through with making me feel special and appreciated for my birthday. Just really grateful for my mama♥️
