@sashalicious, I’m just slowly cutting one feed at a time . So for two days I haven’t nursed her in the afternoon. I guess it also depends on the circumstance because sometimes when I get to my parents place where she is babysat while I work she wants to nurse right away. So we will see how it goes
Aw she probably knows when she gets to your parents that your gona go away for a bit, so she wants mommas comfort a little while longer? I love nursing this time around. Just scared for teeth 😂😂 is she missing her skipped nursing times? What do you replace it with? Water or solid foods?
I honestly thought that I would just breastfeed 6 months to a year I didn’t think I’d enjoy it so much. I was scared for teeth too because I’ve heard stories ! But she’s not a bitter (at least not when nursing 😂😂 ) she’s ok with the skipped session for sure she is an amazing eater so she gets filled with solids
Same as @renata.shumelda .. we cut out a feeding for a week then moved to cutting another one. In less than a month, she was done. Our kids were/are older than 3mths though .. although the process should still work. It just may take longer.
To skip feedings, I'd be busy around the time of the feed I'd want to cut out ... like the afternoon ones, we'd go do errands or get in the car. So then she'd just nap in the car.
that’s true you can develop mastitis. I had engorgement issues when she was born because my milk came in fast and she couldn’t latch right away. The nurses at the hospital were concerned for infection.

What's the process like for you ladies? I stopped cold turkey with my 1st son at 3 months. Poor lil man was devastated.

@sashalicious, we both really enjoy breastfeeding so we are taking our time weaning 😛

Lil man was skipping a feed and it caused a backup, fever, etc. It sucks!

I don't know when I'll stop with my son .. maybe around a year.
