They screened me for postpartum depression and discussed birth control options. Didn’t even have to take off my pants because I wasn’t having issues. I think most doctors will check you down there to see if you’ve healed though.
Yes what the others have said. I did get checked down there just to make sure I was all healed. But otherwise they just ask how you’re adjusting, how you’re feeling, things like that. And they will ask about birth control then prob give u the ok for sex!! That’s the best part of the exam lol!!

They did mine at 3 weeks and my OB examined me to make sure I was healing properly & prescribed birth control & made sure I was OK mentally..

They only examine you down there is you had any tears.
