Has anyone ever had an umbilical hernia due to Diastasis Recti? I’ve known about the DR (undiagnosed) since about spring, and a month or two ago I noticed I was starting to have an outie. Even with my first pregnancy, when I was overdue I never had an outie. So I asked my OB about it at my appointment on Tuesday and she said it may be a small umbilical hernia developing. So I’m on lifting restrictions, which is tough with a toddler, but we’re making it work.

I’m just hoping I can keep it from getting worse and possibly avoid surgery. 😬
