I think I messed myself up. It’s been so much easier to make my baby girl bottles instead of nursing. I have a low milk supply as is and I basically just made it less by not feeding her as much as I can.
I try pumping but with both of them I only ever get ½ an oz if I’m lucky. With my oldest, he got full. With my baby girl, not at all. When she was still newborn she’d cry while nursing because nothing was coming out. And you’re right. Both of you ladies. I need to be happy for what I have. ❤️❤️❤️
@bkrysxo, be proud! i can't tell you how many sleepless nights i've sat there breastfeeding, watching my SO sleep peacefully, telling myself i'm putting this little shit on formula IN THE MORNING. but every day is a new day 😂🤷🏽♀️ have a good day mama!
Breastfeeding is hard. I have always struggled with it and it gets exhausting especially when you've got other kids to take care of also. 4 months is amazing! My first made 2 1/2 weeks before I was dried up and my second 2 1/2 months I was dry. You should be proud of what you've accomplished! I am sure proud of you 😊
Aww thank you. That means a lot. I was able to breastfeed my oldest for 18 months. At first I had to supplement the bottle till my milk came in. With this one though, she’s constantly hungry and my supply hasn’t been able to catch up with her. It’s one of the things I love being able to do the most and the fact that I’m “not enough” is discouraging. Thank you so much for your kind words. They mean a lot.
are you pumping as well? don't beat yourself up! I was able to breastfeed for 14 months BUT it was not easy! my supply was never huge, in fact on average i got only 2-4 oz in a session from both boobs. just keep putting her to nurse and be proud of what you have been able to give her! breastfeeding definitely has its struggles.
