Yeah I wouldn't encourage him to come out before your due date. I didn't have my first sweep until 40 weeks and then another at 41 weeks and went into labour that night. At the end of the day it's not a natural thing to happen so I would go up to your due date and see if your body does it on its own 😊 xx

If baby isn't ready let him cook longer. When you go over they will start assisting. Complications could happen he's in there for a reason only 2 more weeks or less just think the longer he's in there the better for him at the moment. X

I was offered one for my 38week appointment, I weren’t at high risk and certainly was my first pregnancy so I think it all depends on the area you live as to what that will or won’t do. I refused my sweeps until I was over due. It did work for me but my body was 100% ready to go and already 4+cm dilated when having it done. If your body is not ready to go into labour then I doubt it will work. Your midwife will be able to tell you if your cervix is ready and how likely it is to work for you xx

I’ve got a midwife appointment today so I’m going to ask her. I’m fed up and I’ve tried everything to get him out 😂 just don’t want to go over because then it’ll be Christmas
