Should Strangers Feed Your Baby Without Asking?
Rant time.
Tonight at Walmart I’m at the self check out register. Gabriella starts cry’s because she had a poopy diaper. She wasn’t hungry because I had already fed her the bottle I made. She drank just about all of it but was starting to spit some out (meaning she’s full) so anyway, she’s crying and I’m starting to pay for my items and getting ready to bring her to the bathroom to change her. As my back is turned to her I hear her choking/spitting up and crying harder. I turn around and there is an old lady shoving and forcing my baby the rest of her bottle! Telling me that she is hungry and that I need to feed her! I took the bottle and wiped Gabriella’s milky face and told the lady that she’s crying because she pooped and needs a diaper change. I freaked out on the lady telling her she has no right to just walk up to someone’s kid and take it upon themselves to feed them. I told her that I didn’t know where her hands had been to be touching my daughter or her things. She had the audacity to say no that she was hungry. I looked at this lady with a death stare. I said sternly excuse me? I know my child. She’s spitting out her bottle. And not eating. Now please mind your own business. She had the nerve to call me rude as she walked away!!

Okay, this just got me soooo angry. Is she out of her fucking mind? Are you fucking kidding me? You know you would think that people would have common sense as to not touch other people’s children or their things. But once you become a mother, you meet those few dumbasses that don’t. I would have ripped the bitch to shreds. I’m sorry for cursing, but this is too wild! But shoutout to you Mama for keeping your composure. You walked away the real winner because its tough to keep a cool head in situations like that! @gummybear728, You’re a champ ❤️

I really did want to curse the lady out. And end her lol like my mind exploded! For one, my daughter has a bit of breathing problems that worry me sometimes so when I feed her I really pay attention because when she eats she stops breathing and gasps which cause her to choke sometimes so it’s important for me to watch closely as she’s eating. And this lady just goes and forces the bottle on her! Like what if my baby stopped breathing!?!? I’m over people stepping in. I’m not as young as people think I am. I’m not a first time mom lol and I definitely know my children. I appreciate you though for the compliment ❤️ I’ve had it though. I’m no longer being as nice anymore.

Exactly. You said it! Whether you’re young or old isn’t what matters. It’s that nobody knows your children better than you do. You know what best for them and no one else. Remember to always stand up for yourself but also no matter what ALWAYS stand up for your kids. You don’t have to worry about being rude or mean when it’s about your child’s safety & wellbeing!
