There's a bunch of different styles and brands of cloth diapers. I would recommend that you check out cloth diapering 101 on YouTube that will give you a good idea of where to start.
all diapers leak if they have enough fluid in them.
Cloth worked great for us and we never had a poop blow out with cloth. The only time we ever had a poop blow out was when my daughter was wearing a disposable diaper.
Alva and Sunbaby cloth diapers are much cheaper then bumgenius.. and I personally prefer them over the most expensive brands.
But if you do start buying a cloth diaper stash. I would recommend buying a small amount of a few different brands, because what works best on my baby doesn't necessarily work best for yours.
