Did you guys get to choose your induction date/time? They just told me itll be scheduled anywhere from next monday-thursday, I'd like to wait until Thursday but I'd also like to go as early in the morning as possible..
Also any tips you want to give a FTM about being induced? I know it's not a 100% I will be, but honestly the anxiety of thinking about it is killing me already... youd think since I'll know when it's coming I'd be more mentally prepared but I'm 100% less! Lol

I picked the day for both of mine, they were always in the morning though.

Tips, rest while you can and if you are getting epidural make sure you tell them soon enough so they can let anesthesia know...it may take them a minute to get up there.

oh and the pitocin can burn a bit when it's going in. That's the medicine they use to induce labor....when they break your water it will progress fast from there.

You'll be fine and do great! I only know induction! So I'm nervous about labor coming on it's own bc I've never been through that part! But being induced really isn't bad at all...it's hard but quick labor, at least in my experiences. I've gone early in the am and I've gone late at night. I didn't prefer one over the other... The night time one I slept through alot of it after the epidural was given lol. But if she doesn't come before your induction, you can get ready for her and go be prepared. It is anxious though bc it's like a countdown and you know when you're going in and everything! But it won't be bad at all girl!

I chose my dates as well. Induction isn’t that bad. Try and relax. A lot can happen in the next week and half and you may not need it. But if you do it’s not awful. Pitocin is no joke. You will definitely feel those contractions but if you want an epidural get one. If not just keep reminding yourself each contraction is 1 step closer to meeting your baby.

I didn't get to pick the day, nor time. He just said come in on 8-8-16, at 10pm. Labor wasn't hard, they started me on pitocin, few hours later I was at 6cm I got the epidural, didn't feel anything until it was time to push, and it was just pressure like I had to use the bathroom, and she was born 3:39pm on 8-9-16.. at 39w. Super duper healthy! You got this momma!! (: don't stress it! It's a journey of a life time!
