My bottom molar started to hurt really bad this afternoon. I've been in pain here and there. I've taken Tylenol because the pain was super intense. I'm scared because I've had cavities for a really long time now that haven't been treated. I did have a cleaning done a while back this year but so far from there, that's been it. My bottom molars have cavities and those are the only ones that hurt.
I'm calling and requesting an appointment to get seen tomorrow I hope someone calls me back soon. Because I don't know if I can take another day in this horrible pain.
If you've been in my situation, what did you do? How did you get treated ??

Make an ob appt this week to get clearance. Most dentist won’t touch without it.

As a formal dental assistant, you will need to get the medical clearance first from your obgyn and if it’s your back molars 🦷 most likely it will be a root canal, or maybe fillings which will require local anesthesia or lastly they can just probably extract the tooth. But it’s all up to the dentist.
