RANT: I'm seriously so done.. Ive talked about this is some of my posts about my SO getting full custody of his son that's 2 and theres 2 things that really piss me off about it he plays and shows so much attention towards him but barley helps me with our son and will swear in front of the baby but not his other son!!! And just about an hour ago I was sleeping he woke me up becauae they baby was waking up in his crib like are you kidding me grab him and feed him why do I have to do everything!! I'm already alone with him 10 hours a day Well he works and complains that he's tired or the house is a mess or he can't find anything or needs clean clothes I don't always get the chance to do e everything when you want it to be done I'm busy with a 2 month old if you want or need something so bad then do it yourself. I swear men are something else and ill never understand them.

Have you discussed your feelings in a calm and rational manner with him? That’s step one. Communicate your expectations. If you don’t, you can’t get upset if he doesn’t meet them. Tell him he needs to help more around the house.
As for paying more attention- many men find it easier to connect with children when they’re older rather than the newborn stage. Show him things he can do to bond with the baby. Swearing isn’t appropriate, but he may see it as your 2 month old doesn’t understand it yet and can’t repeat it so it’s no big deal. Try not to make everything about child 1 vs child 2. It’s not a good environment for either child to be in and certainly not fair to child 1.
When my babies were little, I did every night. Mostly because I breastfed/pumped. So on weekend days or evenings I told my he needed to step up. The more I laid things out: “you can help by xyz” the better things were. Communication, communication, communication.

Yes I tried talking with him but he just starts getting loud then it becomes a fight. And maybe I'm jealous bc he's playing and paying more attention to his other son from a old relationship than hia other son that we had together and I get dads step in mpre when their okder bc they get easier to handle and they can listen or stay in one spot and they don't cry for food they can either say it or point if they can't talk or say much yet

And I try to tell him stand up with him and walk around he loves that that's how I get him to stop crying unless he's hungry, that's how I can tell if it's a hungry cry or just crying. But then doesn't do it and he's still crying then will be like he doesnt wanna be with me right now here you go. I tell him I'm trying to help bc he needs to find a way or something he does to get him to stop crying I'm gunna go back to work soon he's gotta figure it out

You should not get jealous of him spending time with his first son when that's literally all his son has if he has full custody. But men do tend to bond with older kids more because they can play, and it will be the same when your son gets older. But instead of expecting him to help with the baby straight up ask him to, or before hand talk about him doing one of the night time feedings. Men don't usually just willingly do things, they need to be asked lol. At night since I breastfed my husband would get the baby (i would have to kick him awake because he will sleep through it) change him, and hand him to me to feed. I still do 90% of it but I do expect my husband to help when he is home.

Yes he sleeps threw it sometimes to but I get up the first feeding/change then he does the second but Sunday is his only day off so you would think he would wanna spend time with the baby and give me a break. I ask him what I nees help with he does it but sometimes hes like no I'm tired or I have to go smoke a cig
