I am 7w3d, I know based on OPKn BDing etc. So I went for a dating scan for my doc office to confirm as I have done for my previous kids. Only this time the tech was worried, said it was very small and hard to date and sent us home.
Doc office called and said that they were sending me for another scan this week and that it might be twins but its hard to tell confidently.
Here is my question, would twins explain why I would be measuring smaller at this time? I always had successful scans at this time in the past and I see a lot of people with 7w or early scans. So what gives?

Is 7 weeks based of your last period? Are you periods / cycle lengths irregular?

thanks love, that is true for LMP measurements but that's because your ovulation time varies so widely. Since I know when I ovulated I was not expecting a huge variance. The next 5 days wait is going to be brutal.

I absolutely understand that feeling. Currently carrying a rainbow baby after a very recent miscarriage. Seems like ages between those US and seeing a heartbeat!
