🤷♀️ I don't think I'd have an issue. I mean, that's super distant. It's not like he wound up being the fathers nephew. People are marrying second cousins with no big deal, and it's not like the relationship was entered knowing they're distantly related.

This occurred with someone I know. They were already older and had kids so they stayed together.

I wouldn’t leave. It would be weird for awhile but since there is a kid involved I would want to make it work for the kids sake and if you are in love it would make it easyier to stay. I would get testing done ASAP to see if there is any genic issue so you can prepare.

Um that's tough. I'd be sick first off. If not married, i might have to go. Just KNOWING (idc if anyone else knows) I'm with my relative would mess up my whole mentality, esp sleeping together. I don't think i could continue that, I'm not down the the incest cousins dating etc nah.

It's a third cousin. Most laws dont allow first cousins to marry so even the law is on their side. Its not that serious. Hell most royal bloodlines are tainted with inbreeding and cousins marrying cousins. I dont think this situation Is that terrible honestly

That's pretty far removed. Apparently on average they share only .78% DNA
To compare, I feel like I read somewhere that strangers share .1-.4% on average...but I could be wrong.
Would it still be weird? Yeah. But if both parties are okay with continuing and not many know about the relation, I don't see why they shouldn't just keep living their lives. Too late now. Now if people met knowing that...nope. Different story.

The man would be your 3rd cousin once removed.... honestly it's not that close of a relationship... I would be freaked out if they were even as close as 2nd cousins but 3rd cousins once removed isn't that big of a deal.
I actually have a friend that discovered that his parents are 3rd cousins when he did his family tree when were were in high school... his parents had no idea and there's no weird genetic abnormalities in their children or grandchildren.
