Girl it’s so crazy! I’ve been taking them for years and the price keeps going up. And it’s not like we can go without taking the meds either. The first time I went to get my rx with my insurance I cried tears of joy when they told me how much cheaper it was.

They just switched mine to something different this week because my seizures aren’t under control and I about shit, I called my doctor and said uh do you know what my co pay is a month? They called me back and gave me a code to zero it out or it would be $850 with our insurance.

I’m so sorry! I know how scary it is when they aren’t under control. I’ve been lucky to have mine under control with keppra. I haven’t had one in a couple years but was scared last year when I was pregnant.

I remember times when I’d run out of my meds, end up in the ER having seizures and coming out of them thinking “this is going to kill me. This is how I’m going to die.” All because I was struggling to afford the meds. So crazy.

That’s how I feel with my sons insulin! I could not pay for it out of pocket. It’s about $4,000 just for one kind a month and he has 2 kinda plus everything else... as it is I’m paying $120 a month for his sensors
