I have been having killer pain when I walk or move in general in my pelvic area, not inside on the outside almost like I pulled a muscle. The Midwife had me come in after my glucose test was done and I have something called Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. Its when during pregnancy your pubic bones separate and rub together whenever you open your legs like walking, cause that's not important to be able to do. And apparently it only gets more painful as you get bigger. I can hardly walk today it hurts so bad. 😭 Just another fun thing to add to the list.

I had it from 16 weeks on.... I’m still not fully recovered

wow your dr sounds like an asshole. My midwife had it herself and was so kind. She said its so painful some days she would just cry all day. She gave me a band name to order and referred me to a Physical Therapist. I have been out all day running errands and now I can't get off the couch it hurts so bad my eyes are full of tears. This is not a suck it up scenario I am so sorry your dr treated you that way.

she didn’t really say it in that manner- but essentially that was the result. I was also high risk so there was only so much I could do. Midwives are always better about things

I'm high risk too, 4 previous losses including and ectopic that cost me one of my tubes. The OB is a man but I never see him he just did my surgery. The practice has him and 2 midwives who I adore, and they have cared for me for the past 4 years. I hope there is never a reason I ever have to leave the practice. They let me talk and never make me feel stupid or like I am over reacting. I wish I had a midwife with my son.
