I usually advise anyone considering an IUD to not get it... they aren't safe at all and can be fatal in severe cases if they dislodge and travel throughout your body. Also very unsafe to get pregnant on and lately more and more people are claiming it failed for them.
Iv had mirena for almost 3 years now and haven’t had any issues..I still got my period pretty regularly and all. Insertion and the cramps were uncomfortable but I would rather have that for a day or 2 then having to remember the pill each day
Paragard is good if you’re worried about hormones. I had bad experiences with both iuds but the insertions were just a lot of pressure. Not super painful.
My doctor told me the more kids you have had the less it hurts I heard people say it was the worse pain ever but when I had mine in it was like a pinch with a few cramps .
Yes the insertion did not feel good. I have mirena as of now I recomend it.. It has a tiny tint amount of hormones. Literally 1% of whats in birth control pills. It doesnt harm my body. Its only been a month I will update ya
