What laundry detergent do you ladies used for your little ones? I’ve been using dreft but I’m wondering is it okay to now wash her clothes with the same detergent we use (downy or ride)

BTW- I normally use Tide and either Downey or Snuggle fabric softener. Never had an issue.

I use tide and downy free and clear to wash everything.

I have never purchased special detergent and get whatever I like.
Tide, Tide Simply, Purex, Persil, etc. I always figured it was a waste to use special detergent unless I washed EVERYTHING (family's clothes, towels, blankets, etc) in special detergent bc baby touches everything else anyway and it defeats the purpose. Always said I'd switch if they had an allergy to normal detergents. Thankfully it's always been ok with both daughters.

I feel like the social detergents are just a money maker for the maker and not a true necessity.

But I LOVE the smell of dreft... Sometimes I buy it for the smell hahaha

I love the smell it’s like a “baby smell” that’s really the only reason ive been using it this long cuz I want her to smell like a baby lol

@messiah-mommy: I don't know what Dreft smells like. But I know that my girls have their own distinct smell that I love when they are fresh out of the bath even though I use the same products on them. So use what you like! It's amazing how our memories are attached to scents.

I never got special detergent , unless they have sensitive skin . But mine didn’t and never had an issue .
