I forgot to update yesterday. So doctor is very happy with Allaiyah. He said she's so fast and strong and fast with her hands. Believe me I didn't need him to tell me that part she's always grabbing things quicker than I can 😂🤦🏻♀️ He also said all her muscles are strong enough to sit and said she can as he saw her on me. He said I just need to keep trying and she's just being abit lazy. But he mentioned taking her to baby group as seeing other babies do it might help. But I just can't bring myself to go 😔 But she's been getting herself in a proper crawling position for the past two days now!

Me and Theo go to a few baby groups, I honestly think that's why he was so early walking. It took me a few months to pluck up the courage to go, even now we miss weeks because of anxiety🙄 but my partner or friend came with me for the first few weeks and that helped a lot! The women at these groups are usually lovely and so supportive :) if you can get someone to go with you until you get to know a few women there, it's definitely worth it xx

Well my OH always works. And I literally have one friend and she works nights so is never awake for them. I feel awful that she has no interaction with other babies but my anxiety stops me from doing alot. I tell myself every week I'm going to take her and then I can't even get myself out of the door 😔 Doesn't help that I've just moved and now I'm in a new area too. I live in quite a posh area so it's made it worse. I'm always telling myself they'll all be 'stuck up' and I won't fit in. Which is horrible to think but I can't help it 😔 she's been twice since she was born and she was only about 2 months then. Just hate that I'm holding her back xx

you're not holding her back :) I have a friend who takes her baby to groups every day, has done since she was 6 weeks, her little girl is only now sitting unaided and she's 10 months :) her baby just wasn't interested in what the other kids were doing, where as Theo just wanted to play with them and the balls!
Just do what you can manage, if you can't go to a baby group, maybe try a baby soft play (usually pretty empty) or just the local park when the weather clears up a bit :)
She'll sit and walk in her own time, they all do it eventually, my brother was 18 months before he even stood to take his first step. They focus on different things at different times :) xx

@jamieleighx I really want to take her to them I just can't get myself to go. Just hope sometime soon I can. And honestly she just loves rolling everywhere and she's so quick with it too. She's extremely curious about everything around her and wants to grab everything. She will sit on me happily for at least 5 mins. But out her on the floor she will see something throw herself back and roll to it 🤷🏻♀️ xx

@megan-leigh, I also suffer anxiety and first year I couldn’t leave the house and never took her to baby groups, I’ve only just started taking her to one group when she was 2 years old. I was really worried about her development etc but she does not stop talking and way ahead of other children her age. So I don’t think it will affect her development! Xxx

My health visitor said first time is always the hardest and if you get there and decide you can’t do it, that’s progress! So just do what’s comfortable and next time you can stay for 30 mins and build up xx

I manage to take her to the shop sometimes. Think that's because I don't feel trapped in a room and feel like I have to speak to people. I can't even bring myself to get to the point of leaving the house to go. The amount of times Ive got ready and then just not gone is ridiculous xxx

I have a health visitor who comes to see me not my daughter, to see how I’m doing. I wonder if you could have the same? She really helps me xx
