Okay ladies HELP. I work in child care, I’m an assistant in an infant room ranging from 8-15 months. My job requires me to lift children all day. I do a lot of physical stuff. When I was pregnant with my son I started bleeding at 6 weeks and was put on temporary bed rest, and after having a chemical last month I’m just so nervous I want to do everything in my power to make sure this baby sticks! When should I tell my job I’m pregnant so they can put me in s room that requires less physical activity?? I haven’t even missed my period yet or been to the doctor so I don’t want to jump the gun. I was thinking I should wait until Monday after I’ve missed my period and at least confirmed my pregnancy on a digital. I need to tell them soon because they need time to find a replacement! I wanted to wait until I confirmed it by my doctor but the soonest I can get in is the 11th. What would you do? I don’t want to jump the gun but I also don’t want to risk my pregnancy by waiting

It’s usually recommended you stop lifting after the first trimester but this remains a question for your doctor or health care provider.
A doctors note should help your work figure out their strategy. Technically it’s not up to you to give them time to find a replacement because being pregnant is a protected class.
I wouldn’t over think it. Just set up an appointment with your doctor and one step at a time love.

Wait for doctor and if you can call in sick or something to buy you time love
