My baby won’t sleep unless I’m holding him😳 my boyfriend said let him cry it out I can’t even last…

He’s still an infant. Mine is the same way. All they know is being close to you for 9 months. I picked up a carrier and I baby wear him when he gets extra needy and won’t sleep. It helps so you can still get stuff done hands free.

No such thing as spoiling an infant. The cry it out method has been proven not to work.

Hold your baby when he needs you, it builds trust.

He needs to get used to sleeping without you for sure but not at 1 month old.

Please do not even consider CIO. Even advocates of it say absolutely not until 6 months. Look up the 4th trimester. He needs you, babies need touch, warmth, cuddles, to feel safe.

I've tried that as well but makes me feel horrible especially when she holds her breath so what do I do?...pick be back up🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I did CIO once and couldn’t do it. I have a very clingy baby. She’s a year old now and still doesn’t like other people to hold her, including family. I’ve just gotten used to it.

Thanks ladies I feel bad everytime bc my boyfriend tells me everytime that I am spoiling him and then I worry for when I go back to work for the person babysitting. Oh well I know it will all work out...

I go by the saying you can never spoil a baby with too much love. Give that baby all the love and attention he needs💙

You have to remind him that this is babys only way of communicating to you guys! He's just letting you know he needs/wants something!
