I feel dumb for asking this but I’m going to ask anyways 😂 .... I’m 27 weeks 2 days I had a growth check today and baby boy weighs just a little over 2 pounds but I guess his cerebellum is measuring at 29 weeks 2 days and the rest is measuring right on track... soo does that mean I’m two weeks further along then what was thought or does it not make a difference?

No it doesn’t! My babe measured ahead and behind so like one dr appointment she said he was measuring ahead the next he was behind a week but that eventually stopped and he was on track

This is NOT a dumb question. Kudos for asking. I see so many women on here assume it means their baby is ahead gestationally so they should deliver earlier!

My babies always measured ahead, I just make them bigger than average 🙃

No it doesn’t change “gestational age”. Some babies measure larger in some aspects then the “norm”.

My son measured ahead from 24 weeks till his final growth scan and it was simply because he was a large baby. If your due date was changing they’d notify you, but it wouldn’t if just babes cerebellum measurement was ahead ☺️
