Everyone hypes you up about how beautiful and lush your hair is or is going to be during pregnancy, but no one prepares you for how much hair loss you’ll experience after baby. This isn’t even all of it. Clumps went down the drain as well. My hair is already thin as hell as it is. Seeing my hair come out like this has me in literal tears. I hate it.

I haven’t had no hair loss yet, I don’t know if it’s because I’m still drinking my prenatales. But I have always had that problem of losing so hair .

Oh gosh this is the worst thing ever! I literally wake up in the morning with hair all over my pillow and can’t stand when I wash my hair in the shower and it’s all in my fingers after shampooing. 😩
It’s worse with my daughter. I feel clumps of it running down my back and legs. Wasn’t that bad with my son 💔
@bkrysxo, same for me! I had hair loss with my son, but it has been 10x worse with my daughter.

@bkrysxo, it nice to have others who understand though. My hair is super thin to start with as well so its freaking me out lol. I didn't have this with my first pregnancy so was hoping id be safe this time lol
@dreamer2188, oh most definitely. I took biotin after i stopped nursing my son at 18 months and it helped some. Didn’t fall out as much.

Yeah it lasted long with my son. Biotin seemed to be the only thing that helped after those 2 years. I can’t take it yet because I’m still nursing :(
Can I ask what is causing the hair loss?? I don’t understand how pregnancy would cause this. I’m just curious, as I didn’t know about this; I didn’t have this issue personally
@mikailahandbaby, could be! Every woman/body/pregnancy really is different. I did a lot of reading and research while pregnant. Heck, even now. 🤓 lol. I like being informed and having answers. My hair is in knots now. I know I have hypothyroidism. I got it after my son. That causes hair loss. But it’s more than usual because of all the hair I didn’t shed while pregnant.

@mikailahandbaby, lmao not at all. I had no clue until I got it. Basically have hair loss, slow metabolism, dry skin. Others have it worse. I take medication but it’s low dosage. & thank you!!

My husband hates it every time he would complain about it. Makes you feel like you’re going to go bald!
YES! I loathe this part. I keep seeing my old bald spots come back. As I said, I have thin hair as is so when I was pregnant they all got filled in. Now they’re all back.

My hair was the same for almost a year.. try coconut oil or they have one also that looks like a gel.. mine started to grow so much with that and brought it back to be full hair
