How do I make a noise complaint to the police, I have no idea what to say to them, these are the issues...
*we're in a private rented house*
When we moved in I was heavily pregnant. We had absolutely no issues with the neighbour at all. Since having Riley all I've heard is the ignorant pricks tv blaring, hammering on the walls and numerous doors slammimg all day into the ridiculous hours of the morning. I am getting so sick of it, I went round to him once about it and he apologised but has carried on doing it. Please help 😕?

Sounds like you need to ring your council more than the police hun, they usually send them a letter then if they carry on they give you a noise monitor then it gets more legal, that’s what I had to do but ended up moving instead x

We're private renting thus house so would it still apply do you know ? x
Moved all over the place in my life (dads ex army) if I can help it I'm not moving anywhere anytime soon especially due to the ignorance of another person xx

You need to write it all down, times and what kind of noise ect. Then generally the council has a department that deals with 'environmental' issues. Be prepared chances are nothing will change unfortunately people can be evicted because they are noisy unless it reaches extremes. I had the worst neighbour when my oldest was born there were all night parties, constant fights and someone actually got stabbed in her front garden nothing was done to move them or make them calm down, in the end I moved x
