Yup this happens, I was treated terribly by a doctor after I had my second. I went to see a new doctor for my 6 week check up my regular doctor was on vaction. And this doctor told me to get my tubes tied because I have a girl and a boy now and I shouldnt be having more kids... My husband who is Caucasian showed up late to the appointment came into the room and soon as the doctor knew he was my husband he started being nice. I was so horomonal and sensitive that I bawled my eyes out as soon as we got to the truck and told my husband what he said. And I knew he was being a jerk to me because I am aboriginal.

the racism happens everywhere, I usually turn a blind eye and don't notice it as much anymore. But when my husband sees it happen to me he makes it known that it is not appreciated.

How horrible... I gave birth in this hospital and had a great experience. I've also lived in a few provinces and Saskatchewan is very racist...!
