So my doctor said because of how small I am he wouldn’t be surprised if I went into premature labor. So my mom started asking what I want for my birth plan so she can insure it happens. Then she asked me if I have a hospital bag packed just Incase it does happen. I just stared at her with a blank face because I don’t even know what to put in my hospital bag other then going home clothes and basic hygiene stuff. Any body have and tips on what I should bring?

I’v just packed things I would need if I were to stay away the night, so toiletries, change of clothes, pjs, towel, hairdryer makeup. I’v heard lip balm is a must because gas and air dry your lips. Then for baby. Several changes of clothes nappies wipes hats gloves blankets swaddle.

They hospital will provide most everything you need. Personally I packed like above poster said but didn’t end up using much of it. I was happy with the hospital gown and panties. Be sure to take charger, lip balm, nursing bras. I put my girl in a gown and took a cute going home outfit.

A warm comfy robe is a must! If you don't want go be stuck in the hospital gown you can usually have your own as long as they can access your belly for fetal monitoring. You might want 2-3 pjs or comfy clothes because sometimes you may need to stay 3+ days.

I ended up being in the hospital for a week so pack more than 2 days worth of clothes (just in case). Other than that, toiletries, towels, rubber bands, chapstick, pads, nipple cream, makeup, snacks, slippers, baby bottle, pacifier, baby clothes, baby blankets, butt cream, wipes and I did diapers even though they provided it. The hospital should provide everything from diapers to pads but I wanted to be ready in case they didn't.

Ear plugs. Comfy robe and fluffy blanket. Chap stick. Water bottle. Headphones. Some baby clothes. Going home clothes for yourself. Slippers. Comfy socks. Extra phone charger. Nursing bras
