So excited and nervous! Flying back home tomorrow to visit our parents for Thanksgiving! Our baby girl does not sit well, she wants to be up and running around. Our flight is late, so we’re hoping we can get her to sleep on it, but when she gets excited, that doesn’t usually happen. It’s only an hour and a half flight, though, so hopefully, she’ll do well!🤞
Thank you! We flew back there with her in January, she was perfect, but she wasn’t able to walk yet. Ever since she started walking, that’s all she wants to do. Lol She does use her pacifier when she gets ready for bed, so we’ll be taking that and will hopefully take a nap. I’m going to keep her up all day so she’ll be tired.
@coryandanissa I tried that with my son, keeping him up all day but it didn't work out for me lol...we took a bus from Grand Rapids Michigan to Chicago (2 buses) and then had to wait in the airport for about 7 hours until our flight to Atlanta left. He wasn't bad, he just wouldn't sleep and would NOT sit still lol. But he was great for the actual travel parts.
@dass72608, yeah, I hear toddlers sleep less when they’re tired. We have her iPad with movies downloaded on it, and some of her favorite toys. We have a 2.5 hour drive after we land, which she usually falls asleep in car rides, so that doesn’t worry me. I just don’t want to get kicked off our flight...luckily, it’s non-stop, but she just has so much energy. Don’t know where she gets it from! Lol
Have you ever flown with her before? I took a flight with my youngest right after he turned 1 and it helped him to have something to suck on so his ears didn't pop. A sippy cup is good too if she's off the bottle and doesn't use a pacifier. Good luck momma!!
