Did any of y’all get the flu shot while pregnant? My dr basically told me you need to get one because the baby can’t get the flu shot afterwards for 6 months . I don’t believe in the flu shot at all but got it for my baby... now it’s all hot to the touch and sore where they placed the shot. Is this normal?

I got it for my first pregnancy because I felt pressured on the spot into doing it. I don't think I'm going to this year tho

Yesss I got it like 8 weeks ago... definitely sore for three days and hurt to touch... so far I’m doing fine. But if you didn’t take it and gotten the flu you would be more at risk for complications than non pregnant women. (Like pneumonia) ... remember your immune system is working for the two ... ☺️

I haven’t because I haven’t been pregnant during flu season (I’ve had fall babies so I get it right after delivery). But I would have gotten it if they recommended it. Yes, it’s usually normal to have some minor discomfort at a vaccination site. If you’re concerned definitely talk to your doctor.

Yes I called her! She said if I had a fever over 100.4 then go to the ER but she said they’re normal symptoms. Just wanted to see if any others had this problem
