Tonight despite me telling caleigha a gazillion times to stop jumping on my bed she didn’t and fell off really hard straight on her head bending her neck pretty badly. (Chin to chest action) I checked to be sure she could move all limbs and her neck has full movement. I just feel so bad even though I know she’s most likely okay. I had to give her some Motrin since she was saying it hurt really bad. I almost took her to the er but I know they would have told me to do the same thing after checking for movement.

Any time a child hits their head.check their eyes and ears for any blood.keep them awake and wake thru out night every 2 hrs..toddlers are fast :(hope she is okay,,

No blood and she stayed up for a little after it happened. She did fall asleep but it’s bed time so that’s normal. She sleeps with me so I’ll be sure to wake her through the night.
Thanks mama! She really scared me. I don’t know how many times a day I tell her she can’t jump on my bed. ☹️

I know happens so fast..my 3rd son at 13.month's jumped out of his crib backwards that day I bought a toddler bed he does great in it! I was an arm away putting away stupid laundry.and we have tile in all apt but,I had a small area rug in front of his crib I did take him to we to be safe he landed flat on his back..i do believe in angels.the had not 1 mark or scratch or bruise

Just keep an eye out for signs of a skull fracture I don’t mean to scare you at all! My now 10 yr old daughter fell and hit her head on a coffee table when she was about 2 and seemed okay, the next day she was very lethargic, throwing up and just laying around etc, I took her to er and she had a skull fracture and hemorrhage. Thank god she ended up fine but did have to stay in picu for a few days to be monitored. Again I’m sure she’s fine but just keep an eye out for warning signs, throwing up, lethargic etc are the big ones. If she’s eating and waking okay and balanced when walking she’s more than likely fine. Good luck mama! Kids are unpredictable!

It really was! Every time one of the kids tumbles or cracks their head I instantly panic! Glad yours turned out okay!
