When my water broke with my first son I didn’t feel contractions until way later at 6cm. So wondering if these strong menstrual cramps I’ve had for 4 days now is something I should go ahead and call my doctor for or just don’t worry about it. I know everyone’s bodies different. But these cramps have been driving me nuts for 4 days straight. I was 2cm on Tuesday also.

@massmomma16, my next appointment is the day before thanksgiving next Wednesday! Is it bad to dialated without contractions?
@kay201, no, I would just worry you’d dilate too fast without even knowing it. End up like those women that have babies in the car on the way to hospital. Wouldn’t hurt to call and see what they say. I’m sure your fine though!

I’d call. And time them. I dilated to a 3-4 without pain and fast.
