I'm excited for this because I've been trying to get her to count for like 2 months now. She can identify numbers 1-10 but her counting is like "1,2,4,8,7, 3,2"....😂😂
@angylynn22, hahaha. That's adorable. He can count to 14 now, I think, and knows all the numbers, but for a while he'd skip 7 every time. It's the cutest thing. At this age, even if they know the numbers, many kids just can't order them right.
My three old year still can't. She knows almost all of the alphabet though. Give it time. If her pediatrician is concerned at her 3 year appointment then worry. My daughter is getting evaluated in two weeks.
Im not really concerned about anything cognitively because she knows everything else (colors, shapes, letters/letter sounds) ....just seems like she really dislikes numbers but idk why.
Thank you . Its just funnyto me because she knows concepts that i thought would be way harder like all her letters (upper and lower case) and phonetic sounds . So I think she just hates numbers. 😂😂
@angylynn22 awe, my daughter was pretty young when she learned all those things too. She's 5 now and she still struggles with numbers. She knows all the letters of her alphabet even out of order she knows all the sounds that they make and all. The numbers she still struggles with. She tends to forget the number 14 and 16 a lot. Which come to think of it now that's weird to me. Because 14 and 16 are meaningful numbers to me 🤔
