So I had to put my dog away when I was watching 2 boys. They are the football coaches sons and my mans son was in football so they got close. Anyway any time the one boy who is about 8 or 9 they all are would get near my dog he would snarl and show his teeth even if everyone was around he would go for just him and hes NEVER done this. I dont understand why he was acting this way

I’m a firm believer that dogs can tell a persons character so that may be why. & if the kid is mean your dog may pick up on that. My dog was only 8 weeks old & when he met my brother he barked & growled at him. But he’s never done that to anyone else & my brother is a pretty sketchy person. & when we visit my in laws he stays clear of my sil baby daddy he won’t even chase a ball that he throws for him & our dog LOVES balls & people.
@oceanhalo I honestly dont know they are around the same size. Maybe he was to hyper? Or mean? The kid is really mean in general but never touched the dog

@oceanhalo I'm not sure. Probably not but I've never had an issue before and hes 2 years old. The dog. The boy was 8-10 he was fine with his brother but not him what so ever
