Anyone with pcos, are you able to differentiate the pain from ovulation to the pain of a cyst? My left ovary has been cramping since I woke up so I'm hoping it's ovulation. Usually my cysts only hurt during intercourse.

I’ve got pcos and I always get pains around ovulation time. I was never sure if it was ovulation or cyst until I found out I was pregnant a couple weeks ago. So I guess they were O pains. Good luck!

With me my ovulation cramps are very mild I can take a advil and go about my day. When I get pain from a cyst I can always tell because the pain is a little more intense. If anything feels out of the ordinary you should see your doctor just to be on the safe side. I had a rupture a few years ago thankfully it didnt require surgery but I do remember it was very painful.

For me ovulation pain is more of a needle poking on and off type of cramp. Cysts cramps are non stop cramps that feel like the worst menstrual cramps you can have. With cysts pain it feels worse when I walk.

My cysts only hurt before I started my period, and during.
