Up getting my son ready for school and getting myself ready for my 37th week appointment. I believe this week is when they do an exam of some sort I’m just completely not up for it this morning do you think if I tell them we can do w.e exam next week they will be okay with it ?? I mean im having a c-section anyways so what’s the point of checking for dilation or w.e unless they going to do that swab thing when they swab your vag and butt ?? Either way I’m not up for it early this morning and w.e it is I rather do it when I come in next week !!

Usually doctors will give you a choice unless its the strep b test then they kind of have to

@ladyblauvelt, that’s what I’m saying I haven’t done that yet and I know she said this week was an exam so if it’s not that then w.e they doing can wait until next week . I’m really not up for being checked down there this morning . But if it’s that than I understand and will do it even though I never had it in other of my pregnancies

Usually it's required to check for because if the exam comes back positive you need antibiotics during labor

@ladyblauvelt, yea I know I have to do that I’ll get done if I have to today . But if not it can wait until next week . I don’t care about getting checked for dilation because they’re not letting me go into labor since I’m having a planned c-section in 2 weeks or less if she decides to come before that
