I’m anemic and it was to the point where I need a iron infusion. I had an allergic reaction to it. So I’m on iron tablets; they only make me very nauseous and I end up vomiting a lot on them. No matter what I do, how I take time, what I eat with them, etc.
But now it’s getting closer to giving birth and I’m afraid of all the complications that come with being anemic during labor.

@ayaalien they sell them over the counter at Wal-Mart I have to take those I'm super anemic and the normal tablets make me sick as hell

@ayaalien but they release the iron slowly into your body instead of all at one time

I agree with @sleepymommy, the slow release iron pills is what I had to take. The brand I got is called Slowfe I believe. I also took them right before going to sleep. That should help with the nausea.

I third what the other ladies have said. Slow release is so much more easy on your digestive system. I also take mine at night so I sleep through any nausea.
