My first slept in the play yard until she was 4-5 months old. She slept on the raised mattress part until she could roll then she slept on the bottom of the play yard until we decided it was time for the crib.
All my kids hated the bassinet but I still bought one for all of them thinking the new baby would love it.. They all slept in the pack n play better 8+ hours, I think it was the firmness. If you want something that would last longer a mini crib or pack n play is the way to go if you want.

Depends on the Bassinet. You just have to look up how old or the weight they can be to be in it.

yeah, mine says 5 months or 20 pounds. It also said that if they can pull themselves up, they are too big.

I don't want to buy a crib because it won't fit in my room. Maybe a rocker.

a rocker is always at an upright angle and not a proper place for a baby to sleep at night.

My son can still fit in it but we’ve never used it he will be 5 months in 2 days. I use the changing table more. But I believe ours said 25 pounds.

it’s actually for 30 pounds. I love it. Wish I used it more but he has breathing issues and sleeps on my chest every night
