How late does your period have to be to take a pregnancy test. I’m 4 days late.

@aengs2, I have an app that tells me when I ovulate and mark my period. I had sex with a condom though

@nmc95, The apps aren't always reliable unfortunately. If you used a condom it's highly unlikely that you're pregnant. You may have just ovulated later than the app predicted. I would just wait for your period and if it doesn't show after quite some time then maybe mention it to your doctor if you're concerned about your cycle.

4 days late, if you are pregnant you will get a positive.

You can test before a missed period. But if you're late then you can absolutely take a test and get a reliable result.
