Okay, so pro tip here and you’re not gonna think it’s very helpful, but if you’re having what you think are contractions but you’re not sure they probably aren’t contractions. If they feel like the BOTTOM of your stomach is getting the muscles pulled apart that’s a contraction. Not trying to scare you, I’m just letting you know that’s what they feel like. Or a super intense period cramp that makes you tense up and takes your breath away. I could move and talk through mine so don’t believe that always but you’ll know once you’re in labor

Baby dropping has nothing to do with actually going into labor, it means your body is preparing for labor. Your cervix dilating is not a good indicator either, you can stay at a 2 for weeks or be at a 0 & -2 and then 30m later be in active labor. Cramps and increased back pain could mean baby’s on its way but could also be normal pregnancy pain. Never heard of loose feeling joints being an indicator of labor, and diarrhea doesn’t always mean labor is near. Weight gain again, nothing to do with labor. Fatigue and nesting are normal to have all throughout pregnancy but nesting is more common before labor & vaginal discharge doesn’t mean anything. With that being said, every woman is different! If you think you’re in labor time your contractions. Follow the 5-1-1 ; 1 contraction 5 minutes apart lasting 1 minute
