I seem to nurse my daughter for a total of 30 minutes (that’s for both sides) and after I feed her and change her she is crying and still doing feeding cues, so therefore I have to give her formula (typically only about 1-2oz) I want to not give her formula and have her just be exclusively breastfed but she doesn’t seem to ever be satisfied with just nursing on me.

Cluster feeding is going to boast your supply. If you supplement with formula your body won’t know to make more milk.

I would keep offering her the breast if she’s showing feeding cues. If she’s not nursing she might be fussing for another reason. It’s so hard to tell with a newborn!

@leahkay, so just keep continuing to go back to the breast? She just seems to keep pulling off if I put her back on

Just keep trying to get her to nurse. The more she sucks the more your body will produce!

Here's some really good info about cluster feeding:

Cluster feeding is tough! She’s helping your body regulate your supply and she’s growing!

Don't give her the formula. Have her nurse again. Newborns nurse frequently to help establish your milk supply. Adding in formula is just going to make your supply drop because your body only makes what it thinks baby needs.
